Happy 10th Birthday Pemberton Fold!

Pemberton Fold Care Home in Little Hulton, Manchester, celebrated their 10th birthday party in style with a glitzy party complete with ballroom dancing, Michael Bublé tribute act and firework display.

The staff at Pemberton transformed the home into a glamourous ballroom for the special occasion, decorating it with huge glitter balls, black and white balloons and mood lighting along with a red carpet entrance.

The Michael Bublé tribute act serenaded guests, which included people supported at Pemberton, their family, friends and members of staff. A local ballroom dance group then took to the floor, later inviting guests to join them.

The birthday celebrations finished with a firework display, organised by local pyrotechnician Chris Rotherham, whose grandmother had lived at Pemberton Fold.

Julie Lindsay, Assistant Service Manager of Pemberton Fold, said: “We had such a wonderful evening celebrating our 10th birthday. Over the past 10 years, our home has become a really important part of the community and we were delighted that so many people came along to celebrate with us.

Julie continues: “The people we support thoroughly enjoyed the live entertainment, especially the ballroom dancing. Dancing holds some really fond memories for them and we couldn’t get them off the dance floor!”
