We sign Menopause Workplace Pledge
Community Integrated Care is proud to have signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge.
Developed by women’s charity, Wellbeing of Women, and supported by Bupa, the national pledge has been created to promote positive action in the workplace, to foster an inclusive environment and make sure everyone affected by the menopause is supported.
Community Integrated Care joins more than 2,500 employers who have signed the pledge, including the BBC, Tesco and Royal Mail. Find out more here.
Sarah Mahoney, Head of Employee Relations at Community Integrated Care, said, “We’re really proud to have signed the Menopause Workplace pledge and to join thousands of employers in their commitment to ensuring a safe, inclusive and empowering workplace for everyone going through menopause.”
“As a social care charity, ensuring inclusivity and care for our colleagues is incredibly important to us. By signing this pledge, we hope to demonstrate our commitment to ensuring Community Integrated Care is a menopause friendly work environment, where anyone affected by menopause can access support and continue to thrive.”
Alongside signing the pledge, our charity also shared support for colleagues throughout Menopause Awareness Month, with a special colleague webinar on Perimenopause and Menopause Awareness. Hosted by our charity’s wellbeing partners, Everymind at Work, the session gave advice to those currently affected by Perimenopause and Menopause, as well as insights on how to support others in the workplace.
