Aimee named amongst top young talent in care
Aimee Murray, one of Community Integrated Care’s Service Leaders from Leicester, has been recognised as amongst the best up and coming talent in the care sector, after being selected as part of the Care Show’s ‘Thirty Under 30’ list.
‘Thirty Under 30’ celebrates thirty exemplary individuals working in social care, who show great ambition and have gone above and beyond in their role. The group was announced and celebrated in a special awards ceremony at this year’s Care Show in Birmingham.
Aimee recently progressed into a Service Leader role, after being a Support Worker with our charity for the past 6 years. Throughout her short career, Aimee has already made a huge impact, including featuring in the Department of Health and Social Care’s Made with Care campaign, to encourage and inspire people to pursue a career in social care.
Being named in the Thirty Under 30 list, recognises Aimee’s ongoing commitment to raising the profile of the sector, as well as her dedication to providing the best possible care for the people she supports.
Speaking of her success, Aimee said, “There are so many incredible people within our sector who go above and beyond to deliver fantastic care and support, so to be recognised in the top thirty under 30 is unbelievable and such an honour. No one does this job for the recognition, but it still feels so surreal to be included in such a cohort of passionate people and I can’t wait for opportunities to meet them and learn more from them.”
Edd Terrey, Managing Director for Community Integrated Care, said, “We’re all so proud of Aimee for achieving this fantastic recognition. It’s a testament to her hard work, leadership skills and passion for the people she supports. Aimee has had a brilliant career in social care so far, recently becoming a Service Leader and acting as an ambassador in a number of campaigns with the Department for Health and Social Care. She is certainly one to watch and we can’t wait to see what she achieves next!”
