We join Digitising Social Care Webinar

Paula Dodman, our charity’s Head of Operations for the North West, joined Skills for Care and other social care leaders in an informative webinar on Wednesday (8^th November), exploring digitising social care.

The webinar – ‘I’m a Technophobe Get Me Out of Here!’ – provides registered managers with support and practical information to help them get started on their digital journey.

Paula joined social care manager, Jonathan Cunningham from Birkdale Park Nursing Home, on the panel to share her experiences of embracing digital solutions and insights into our charity’s digital journey so far.

This is the first in a series of three webinars that will be delivered by Skills for Care, supporting social care professionals with the digitisation of social care.

Sharing her advice on the session, Paula said, “Digitisation doesn’t have to mean adopting a complex system – it’s about finding the right things that do what you need them to do and that help you to keep people as safe as possible. One of my top tips on would be to communicate with your frontline leaders, colleagues, people you support, and families, and find out what they want to get out of digital systems, so you can take them on the journey with you.”
