Codie and Colin’s leap of faith for our charity

Codie Walton and Colin Pringle, Service Leaders for Community Integrated Care’s services in Gateshead, took a giant leap of faith earlier this month as they zip-wired from the dizzying heights of the Tyne bridge to raise money for our charity.

The funds that the daring duo raise will go towards specialist equipment, sensory tools and facilitating aspirational opportunities for the people they support in the North East.

Codie said, “The experience was amazing, although daunting! I felt really proud to face my nerves and raise money for our charity, as I know the funds will make a real difference to the people we support. Colin and I are now more determined than ever to keep fundraising for our services, and we’re even looking into doing a tandem skydive.”

Colin added, “Whilst it was scary, it was an honour to jump for the charity and having the people we support and the difference we could make at the forefront of my mind, whilst dangling off the Tyne Bridge, really helped. Bring on the next challenge.”
