Meet Our Widnes Vikings Matchday Magazine Sellers
The people we support at Vocational Support Service have teamed up with Widnes Vikings to work as sellers of their matchday magazine, One Club.
Vocational Support Service assists people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs to find meaningful and valued voluntary and paid employment. The people we support will begin selling matchday magazines at the Widnes Vikings versus Castleford Tigers game on Sunday 12th March.
Our programme sellers are locals Mark, who lives in Widnes and is a passionate sports enthusiast, and Vikings supporter Richard, from Runcorn. They will be joined by Frederico and Richard, who live at our Griffin Lodge service in Stockport, which supports people with autism and hearing impairments.
Renata Davies, Service Leader for Vocational Support, says: “The people we support love to meet new people and aspired to find work. To have the opportunity to be part of such a great club is fantastic. They’re looking forward to experiencing match days and meeting all the supporters!”
