Celebrating 5 national GB Care Award finalists
Community Integrated Care is proud to be celebrating five finalists at the Great British Care Awards National Finals in Birmingham this evening (Friday 22nd March).
Hosted by Care Talk magazine, the awards celebrate leading colleagues, teams and projects across the social care sector. The National Finals follow a series of regional awards events and bring together the winners from each ceremony to crown the overall national champions.
Our charity is delighted to have five finalists shortlisted from across our regions:
- Care Team Award – Gilmorton in Leicester
- Putting People First Award – Mallard Drive in Aberdeenshire
- Housing with Care Award – Wordsworth View in Sheffield
- Frontline Leader Award – Chris Christie, a Service Leader from the North East
- Support Worker Award – Phillip Gahan, Support Worker at our Holmdale service in Runcorn
Jim Kane, Chief Executive Officer for Community Integrated Care, said, “To have five of our teams and colleagues shortlisted at the National Finals and recognised as amongst the very best in social care across the UK, is a fantastic achievement. It is a testament to the skill, commitment and dedication of our brilliant frontline teams and everything that they have achieved over the past 12 months, in supporting people to live the best lives possible. We wish them the best of luck – but they are all winners in our eyes!”
