Edd Terrey shares insights at NHS Conference
On Monday 13th May our charity’s Managing Director for our South Central region, Edd Terrey, joined key speakers including Sir Norman Lamb and Baroness Sheila Hollins at the National HOPE(S) NHSE Collaborative Progress and Future Planning Conference in Liverpool.
Reflecting on our charity’s partnership work with Mersey Care through the HOPE(S) programme, Edd presented at the event, sharing insights and best practice with other health and social care professionals in attendance.
Edd shared how, through working together, we’ve enabled people to move from hospital to living fulfilling lives at home, in their communities.
Speaking of the event, he said, “I was really proud to attend and share the incredible impact that our partnership work has achieved to improve people’s lives. The HOPE(S) initiative is all about recognising that we are stronger together, and that by bringing together different voices, experiences and skills, all working towards a shared purpose, we can support anyone to live happy and fulfilled lives.”
He continued, “We now want to take all the learning and experience that we’ve gained over the past 18 months and continue to work collaboratively with our partners so that we can support many more people to move out of hospital environments and into their own homes, where they can live the best lives possible.”
