Elizabeth Road celebrates ‘Good’ CQC rating

We are proud to announce that our Elizabeth Road care home, located in Huyton in Knowsley, has been awarded with a ‘Good’ rating in all areas from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

Elizabeth Road, a care home which supports 5 people with a range of different needs and communications levels, was praised by the CQC for their positive atmosphere and person-centered approach saying, “Staff were kind and caring. People were relaxed and comfortable with the staff team and a positive friendly rapport had been established. Staff interacted with singing and there was lots of laughter as well as smiles from people throughout the day.”

Community Integrated Care’s Managing Director of the North West, Samantha Brennan, commented on Elizabeth Road’s success saying, “A huge well done to everyone at Elizabeth Road who have made a huge difference to the lives of people we support. The whole team has come together and shown commitment, and it is excellent to see this recognised by the Care Quality Commission.” 

The CQC also commended Elizabeth Road on the positive praise given to them by the people we support, their families, and other health professionals saying, “Health and Social care professionals and relatives all spoke positively about the nurses and staff at the home. Their comments included “Staff are amazing” and “Staff are very person-centered and are people focused”.

Our colleagues celebrated the excellent news last week by hosting a party at Elizabeth Road for the people we support and their families and friends, where they were treated to party food, games and live music.
