Community Integrated Care appoints new Chair of Trustees

Community Integrated Care is proud to announce the appointment of Libby Raper as its new Chair of the Board of Trustees. Libby will replace Dame Joan Stringer who recently stood down after serving at the charity since 2014.

Libby, a highly-accomplished Chief Executive and Marketing Director, brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience having previously held several senior public appointments in other esteemed organisations. 

Libby has been Chair of the Board of Trustees for Leeds College of Music since 2014, taking responsibility for establishing their new strategic direction just a year later in 2015. Libby was also Vice Chair at York NHS Teaching Hospital until earlier this year – overseeing the Trust’s merger with Scarborough NHS Trust. Libby also previously served as Chair of The Art House, a charity providing specialist support for professional artists with a disability.

Her experience in the commercial sector spans 20 years, including the role of Vice President of Marketing for Smirnoff Worldwide. Since 2012, Libby has held the role of Director for Yellowmead, a HR consultancy. Prior to this, Libby spent a year leading Design Dimension Educational Trust, which championed and delivered cooking skills in schools, and was Chief Executive for Culture Northwest, who deliver inspirational arts, culture and lifestyle projects throughout the region, for eight years.

I look forward to bringing my broad charitable and commercial experience, including working closely with regulators and inspectors, as we work with energy towards delivering our strategic ambitions.”
