LFC Foundation support Care Homes

Community Integrated Care has said thanks to Liverpool FC and LFC Foundation volunteers who have supported the charity in delivering 162 treat boxes to key workers in care homes and assisted living across Merseyside and Knowsley.  

Earlier this week, Reds staff volunteers assisted with packing the treat boxes which aim to boost morale and team spirit during the Coronavirus pandemic. The packs include items such as confectionery, drinks and snacks all of which are accompanied by a ‘thank you’ card from the organisation praising staff for their hard work during these challenging times.

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. It provides care and support to thousands of people across England and Scotland with a diverse range of care needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns and dementia.

Alongside the treat boxes, LFC staff volunteers will be delivering much needed personal protective equipment provided by Community Integrated Care, including masks, gloves, and plastic aprons to help protect against Coronavirus.
