CIC celebrates Investors in People Success

Community Integrated Care held a celebration event in Glasgow on 4^th December to mark their successful re-accreditation of the Investors in People Scotland’s prestigious ‘Silver’ status.

Community Integrated Care’s Chief Executive, Neil Matthewman and Chair of Trustees, Simon Attwell, joined colleagues working in the charity’s Glasgow regional office to mark this achievement, formally presenting them with an Investors In People plaque, which will go on display in the office.

Community Integrated Care provides care and support to around 500 people with learning disabilities, mental health concerns and age-related needs across Scotland. The charity has held investors in People status in Scotland since 2003 and in 2009 achieved the esteemed ‘Silver’ status.

Investors in People is the most successful framework for business improvement through people in the UK. By achieving their accreditation, Community Integrated Care joins an exclusive group of UK employers eligible to use and display the sought after Investors in People logo and plaque.

Speaking after the presentation event, Neil Matthewman, Chief Executive of Community Integrated Care, said, “As a charity that delivers care and support, it is essential that we aim for continual improvement; our re-accreditation of the Investors in People Silver status in Scotland demonstrates our success in achieving this aim, through investing in and developing our people.”
