CIC Carer shortlisted for South East Care Award

Lisa Martindale, Senior Support Worker at Palmerstone Avenue in Fareham, was shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Frontline Leaders Award’ at the Great South East Care Awards, held at the Hilton Hotel in Brighton last weekend.

‘The Frontline Leader Award’ recognises individuals working in senior roles in care services who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving standards of care and support, through strong leadership and staff development.

The Great South East Care Awards, supported by the Department of Health, are part of the Great British Care Awards, a series of regional awards which celebrates excellence in social care and pay tribute to those who work in the sector throughout England.  The event was hosted by TV expert Dr Hilary Jones.

Jon Bailey, Team Leader at Palmerstone Avenue, said “Lisa has a great passion for providing excellent care and support, so was truly deserving of this award nomination. She has done our service and Community Integrated Care proud, and we are thrilled to see her receive this recognition.”
