Community Integrated Care’s South team is proud to support people to live their best lives possible.
Our charity delivers a host of specialist, community-based care services, supporting people in leading fulfilling and independent lives. To this end, we work with adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and autism so they can play a full part in their local community.
We’re always looking for ways to enhance what we do and how we do it. Whether we’re actioning informal advice from our people or working with official regulators to maintain high standards, we want to keep getting better. You can view our Care Quality Commission ratings here.
We’re one of the UK’s largest and most successful social care charities. We have the local knowledge to really understand the communities where we work. We’re definitely ‘on the ball’ when it comes to teaming up with partner organisations, too! That’s why, in the South, we created a pioneering partnership with Pompey in the Community, the charitable arm of the League One team, Portsmouth Football Club.
Our first initiative with Pompey was weekly activity sessions focusing on sports, socialising and sensory engagement. The sessions are designed to give participants the chance to create friendships with others in the community and bring lifelong Pompey fans closer to the club.
