New Managing Director For Central Region
Community Integrated Care is proud to announce the appointment of Candice York as Managing Director for the Central Region.
Candice joins Community Integrated Care from Affinity Trust, a charity supporting people with learning disabilities, where she held the role of Divisional Director. Having started her career as a Support Worker, she has since held various leadership roles in the social care sector in supported living, day opportunities, residential care and outreach settings. Candice holds a degree in Psychology, and has furthered her knowledge and skills with diplomas in Leadership and Management, Deafblind Studies and Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Candice York, Managing Director for the Central Region said: “I chose to join Community Integrated Care as I felt its vision was aligned with my own – a society where people are supported to live their very best lives and achieve their potential. I’m thrilled to get started with the team, who have given me a wonderful welcome.
She continued: “I’m also really excited to work with our incredible colleagues in the region – their dedication and commitment to the people we support is fantastic, and I’ll be continuing the charity’s great work to ensure that they feel recognised and valued for everything they give to Community Integrated Care. My first impression is that everyone I’ve met shares this ethos, which is so encouraging. I can’t wait to get started with what’s clearly a highly skilled and values-driven team.”
Speaking of Candice’s appointment, Karen Sheridan, Chief Operating Officer said: “I’m delighted to welcome Candice to Community Integrated Care – she’s am impressive and dynamic leader and will bring a wealth of experience to the Executive Team.”
