We’re shortlisted for ‘Charity of the Year’!

Community Integrated Care is proud to have been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Charity of the Year’ accolade at the widely-respected Charity Times Awards, recognising the organisation’s impact throughout a truly unprecedented year.

Charity Times is the leading magazine for UK not-for-profit organisations. 2021 sees their annual awards event returning for its 22nd year, taking place in London on Thursday 9th September. Our charity attended the event virtually last year, after being crowned the Charity of the Year at the 2019 ceremony.

The awards celebrate best practice in the charity sector, promoting and raising the profile of a wide range of organisations. At the event, Community Integrated Care is up against eight other high-profile names including FareShare UK, Refuge and The Stroke Association.

Community Integrated Care’s vital work during the pandemic is being recognised, particularly its work to champion the incredible work of our frontline colleagues and bringing these efforts to national attention.

The charity’s leading partnerships are also being recognised, particularly its innovative partnership with the Rugby Football League and Super League and which has resulted in the world-first inclusive sports programme and Community Integrated Care being declared the 2021 Rugby World Cup’s Official Social Care Partner.
