Community Integrated Care celebrates Carers Week!
Community Integrated Care marked Carers Week in fashion last week with a series of celebrations and events.
The annual campaign aims to improve the lives of carers and the people they care for, by raising awareness of carers at a national, regional and local level.
The Peele Care Home in Wythenshawe kicked the week off with a special D-Day landings garden party, with residents and loved ones enjoying a 1940s music, tea and dancing!
Later in the week, they welcomed representatives from Macmillan, Parkinsons UK and the Stroke Association to deliver informative sessions to staff.
The week ended with a Sports Day – just in time for the start of the World Cup!
