We’re shortlisted for 3 National Care Awards!

Community Integrated Care is proud to have been shortlisted for 3 prestigious awards at the esteemed National Care Awards, recognising the impact of our charity and our colleagues, throughout what has been a truly challenging year.

Organised by social care publication, Caring Times Magazine, the National Care Awards are now in their 23rd year and will be taking place on Friday 19 November 2021 in a glittering ceremony at the Hilton London Metropole.

The awards celebrate the very best people in the social care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.

Our charity has been shortlisted for three of these highly coveted accolades, recognising the commitment, bravery and exceptional contributions of our colleagues over the past year:

• Care Home Group – Community Integrated Care has been shortlisted for the Care Home Group Award, celebrating an ‘outstanding care group with 11 or more care homes which is able to evidence exceptional client care combined with excellent staff development.’
• Care Champion – Tracy Hamilton, Support Worker from the North East, has been shortlisted for the Care Champion Award. The accolade recognises exceptional people who have ‘gone above and beyond and made a real difference’. Tracy displayed immense selflessness and bravery throughout the pandemic, continuing to comfort a person she supported when they were both in hospital with Covid-19.
• Care Leadership – Mark Adams, CEO of Community Integrated Care, has been shortlisted for the Care Leadership Award. This award is given to an ‘outstanding individual, in any care setting, small or large, whose leadership has resulted in an exceptional outcome for clients, team members and the organisation they work for.’

I’m incredibly proud of our people, particularly Tracy who has showcased compassion and bravery beyond measure and is more than deserving of her nomination for Care Champion.”
