Disability Awareness Day in Warrington!
Community Integrated Care was delighted to be represented by our North West & Cheshire team at Disability Awareness Day in Warrington on Sunday!
Disability Awareness Day (“DAD”) is the world’s largest not for profit voluntary-led disability exhibition, held annually in a huge tented village within the grounds of Walton Hall Gardens in Warrington.
This inspiring and exciting event featured over 200 exhibitors, ranging from support providers to advocacy groups, from local community services to suppliers of assistive technologies – and even circus groups and a samba band!
North West & Cheshire Regional Manager Samantha Brennan says: “Disability Awareness Day brings together the very best support and information this region has to offer for people living with a disability – which is why it is such an important event for us to give our full support to.”
“It is wonderful to see so many people and groups come together to help raise awareness and offer guidance to help people with a disability live a full and happy life.”
