Our Armadale teams celebrate fantastic ratings
Colleagues at our Mill Road and Lismore House services in Armadale are proud to be celebrating Good and Very Good ratings in their latest Care Inspectorate reports.
Both teams support people with a diverse range of support needs, including learning disabilities, autism and dementia.
Praising both services for the personalised care they provide, special recognition was given to Mill Road for the way they supported people’s wellbeing. Inspectors commented that the people we support “were treated with dignity, respect and genuine affection” – going on to praise the confidence that family members had in the staff team.
Meanwhile, Lismore House were commended for their leadership. Inspectors noted that “the service was very good at helping people to maintain relationships with people important to them”. In turn, loved ones of the people we support at Lismore remarked that the team offered them “peace of mind”, knowing their loved ones are safe with our colleagues.
Alexanderina Craig, Service Leader, said, “As a team, we are delighted to have achieved Good and Very Good ratings from the Care Inspectorate. The past couple of years have been challenging and the teams have really rallied together. They’ve maintained high standards throughout and have really put the people we support at the heart of their care. It’s a privilege to lead both teams, and I couldn’t be prouder of them.”
Linsey Gallacher, Head of Operations for Scotland, said, “It is wonderful to hear the news that Mill Road and Lismore have received such brilliant reports from the Care Inspectorate. Despite being new in post, Alexanderina has led both services incredibly, and it’s clear how well colleagues have responded to her support and guidance. These results are truly testament to both teams’ dedication to the people we support.”
