Community Integrated Care’s Yorkshire team is proud to support people to live their best lives possible.
Our charity delivers a host of specialist, community-based care services, supporting people in leading fulfilling and independent lives. To this end, we work with adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and autism so they can play a full part in their local community.
We’re always looking for ways to enhance what we do and how we do it. Whether we’re actioning informal advice from our people or working with official regulators to maintain high standards, we want to keep getting better. You can view our Care Quality Commission ratings here.
We’re definitely ‘on the ball’ when it comes to teaming up with partner organisations, too! That’s why, we’ve created the Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League. Championing social inclusion, the programme gives people with learning disabilities the opportunity to develop skills, confidence and positive experiences at a series of festivals and events.
This world-first initiative is a genuinely unique example of a professional sports league sharing its brand with a learning disability sports programme. Five Super League clubs in the region are among the eleven founder clubs: Leeds Rhinos, Hull KR, Wakefield Trinity, Castleford Tigers and Huddersfield Giants.
