Age Exchange wins Fantastic for Families Award

Age Exchange has beat hundreds of other organisations to win a prestigious Fantastic for Families Award, voted as the ‘Best Age-Friendly Outreach’ programme in the UK.

The Fantastic for Families Awards are organised by Family Arts Campaign, funded by Arts Council England and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, which provide opportunities to connect families with arts and culture.

Award-winners were selected from 30 shortlisted organisations, with hundreds of other groups applying from across the UK.

Our team at Age Exchange, has been proudly recognised for their ‘outstanding contribution to family and age-friendly arts in 2022’, by supporting thousands of people to access creative opportunities and enhance their wellbeing through their ground-breaking projects.

David Savill, Creative Director at Age Exchange said, “For four decades, Age Exchange has developed arts programmes which empower people, enhance wellbeing, and reduce isolation and loneliness. We’re delighted that our dedicated colleagues, volunteers and supporters have been recognised for fulfilling this commitment.”
