An award-winning month for our charity!
Throughout November, Community Integrated Care were delighted to celebrate an award-winning month, having won 7 prestigious sector accolades at awards ceremonies across the UK.
With colleagues celebrating at nine fantastic awards evenings, we were proud to attend the Great British Care Awards, National Care Awards, LaingBuisson Awards, Sports Business Awards and In-House Recruitment Awards across the month.
Following the results, we were delighted to be named Care Innovator an extraordinary four times, recognising a wide range of our charity’s partnerships – including our Learning Disability Super League, Wild Isles resources, Big Adventure project, and Taking Charge campaign.
At the Great British Care Awards East Midlands, we were also delighted to take away the Care Employer Award. Celebrating an organisation that shows commitment to excellent care and continuous improvement, the award recognises our charity’s growth following our merger with Inspire, and the incredible £5 million we have invested in our colleagues over the past 12 months.
Likewise, at the Great British Care Awards in Yorkshire, our ‘On the Same Team’ anti-bullying campaign received the Co-production Award – celebrating its innovative and collaborative approach in tackling prejudice.
Topping off the astounding successes this awards season, our Learning Disability Super League took home a second trophy, winning the Best Sports Community Scheme Award at the 2024 Sports Business Awards.
Beyond our brilliant winners, we were also pleased to celebrate 25 shortlisted finalists, with the following Highly Commended recognitions received:
- Great British Care Awards North East and Scotland – Parkside, Home Care Team
- Great British Care Awards North West – Community Integrated Care, Care Employer
- Great British Care Awards East Midlands – Owen Handley, Home Care Worker
Reflecting on these amazing achievements, Community Integrated Care’s CEO, Jim Kane, shared: “From acknowledging our innovative partnerships to applauding the outstanding passion and dedication of our teams, it has been another fantastic year for awards successes at Community Integrated Care.”
