Behind the scenes at Blue Peter!

On Friday 24^th May, two people we support had the experience of a lifetime as they went behind the scenes at the Blue Peter studios in Salford.

Phil from Stockport and Gary from Chester are both big fans of the programme and were delighted to be treated to a VIP experience, touring backstage and meeting special guests from the show, including authors Cressida Cowel and Jeff Kinney, and music artist, MC Grammar.

The day, which also saw the pair have the special opportunity to watch a rehearsal of an upcoming Blue Peter episode and meet the programme’s presenters, was organised by one of our charity’s ambassadors – Presenter and Reporter, Ross Fiddes.

Speaking of the experience, Phil said, “It was amazing to be behind the scenes at Blue Peter and to explore the studio. It’s one of my favourite programmes so it was like a dream come true to be there and meet everyone. I was star struck!”
