Candice York appointed as Clinical Governance Director

Community Integrated Care is pleased to announce that Candice York has now stepped into her new role as Clinical Governance Director at our charity.

Candice YorkCandice, who was previously Managing Director of our Central region, moves into the new role from this week, leading our Clinical and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) teams in our wider Quality function.

The role is a further step in our charity’s mission to deliver, design and build the most progressive support possible, working to assess where we could make improvements to become even better in the future.

Candice York said: “Since joining Community Integrated Care two years ago, I’ve been exceptionally proud to have led the fantastic team in our Central region, and I’d like to thank the team for everything they’ve given in this time.

She continued, “As Clinical Governance Director, I’m able to build on the inspirational work of our frontline teams to ensure that the support we provide is designed to deliver the absolute best lives possible, both now and in the future. It’s a new and exciting step for me personally, but for the charity too.”

Carolyn McConnell, Chief Quality and Risk Officer, said: “We’re delighted that Candice will be joining our Quality team. As we celebrate Community Integrated Care’s 35th birthday, we want to ensure that we’re at the forefront of delivering the most person-centered care and continuing to hold ourselves to the highest professional standards. Candice’s new role will support us with this, as well as helping us to develop our support offering by in investing further in Positive Behavioural Support and Complex Care.”
