CEO features on Skills For Care Conference Panel
Community Integrated Care is delighted to have been represented on the prestigious speaking panel at the Skills For Care Annual Conference by our Chief Executive, Neil Matthewman.
The conference, which took place at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham at the end of March, included an expert range of speakers from across the care industry, including Norman Lamb, Minister of State for Care and Support, Andrea Sutcliffe, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care and Skills For Care’s CEO, Sharon Allen.
‘A Valued Workforce in a Valued Sector’ was the theme of the day, with Neil taking part in a thought-provoking panel session on Adult Social Care. With the focus on creating the right culture for staff to feel valued, Neil discussed Community Integrated Care’s modernisation projects, and the importance of engaging with and recognising staff throughout these projects.
The 2014 conference sees Community Integrated Care continue to enjoy an excellent relationship with Skills For Care, having just completed a project with the organisation, which has seen one of our Team Leaders from Leicester feature in a new Skills For Care video, promoting careers in social care.
