Charnwood Lodge celebrates 20 years!

Charnwood Lodge Care Home in Dumfries recently celebrated reaching another amazing milestone – their 20^th Anniversary!

The home has now been providing specialist care to 60 older people and people with dementia for over two decades. 

The team at Charnwood Lodge celebrated the momentous occasion in style, by organisaing a fun-filled garden party featuring Highland Dancers, Baton Twirlers and the Dumfries Town Band!

This special event brought together the people we support, their loved ones, colleagues and the local community – and raised over £1,300 for our charity.

Mark Adams, CEO of Community Integrated Care said, “For 20 years now Charnwood Lodge has been providing excellent care and support to the people of Dumfries – it’s only right that an extra special celebration was held to mark the occasion! A huge well done to the team, and a big thanks to the local community, for pulling together to create such a fantastic event.”

It’s been a fantastic year for Charnwood Lodge, with the home recently collecting the ‘Meaningful Activities’ Award at the Scottish Care Home Awards.
