CIC supports carers charity
Community Integrated Care has shown its support to the Care Professionals Benevolent Fund by donating three marathon places to athletes raising funds on behalf of the charity.
Samantha Lowe and Alex Boylan of Goosebumps brand agency and Oli Blackwell of carehome.co.uk pounded the pavements to take on the 26 mile challenge, and raised almost £3,000 for the CPBF.
The Care Professionals Benevolent Fund provides assistance for current, former and retired care professionals who are experiencing difficulties in life, from financial hardship to illness. Community Integrated Care was a founding member of the CPBF, and continues to actively support the organisation today.
Shaun Turner of The CPBF said, “The trio have raised almost £3,000 for the work of the charity and we are extremely grateful for all their hard work. I would also like to express our sincere thanks to Community Integrated Care who donated the Marathon places allowing Sam, Alex and Oli to take part on our behalf.”
Neil Matthewman, Chief Executive at Community Integrated Care, said, “We are delighted to support this wonderful organisation by donating marathon places, and I’d like to extend our congratulations to all three runners on their magnificent achievement.
