We’re Shortlisted for Employer of the Year
Community Integrated Care recently attended the Wakefield Excellence in Business Awards where the charity was shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Employer of the Year’ accolade.
The event, which took place at Clarion Cedar Court Hotel in Wakefield, celebrates the best of Wakefield’s business and charity sector. Community Integrated Care has several services supporting people with learning disabilities and is a major employer in the Yorkshire city.
The team from Wakefield attended the ceremony after being shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Employer of the Year’ category, and even though the charity didn’t walk away with the accolade, with only two other shortlisted nominees it sees the charity become one of the top 3 employers in the region.
Mark Adams, CEO of Community Integrated Care said, “It’s great to be shortlisted as one of the top 3 employers in Wakefield, and it’s been fantastic to celebrate the success of our teams providing world-class support in the city. Our charity’s aim is to become a top 3 employer of choice in the care sector and being recognised for this locally is a great step in the right direction.”
The charity, who were recently awarded the national title of Charity of the Year, is up for a whole host of accolades this year, including the 3rd Sector Care Awards, Great British Care Awards and Laing Buisson Healthcare Awards.
