We’re Shortlisted for Two Skills for Care Accolades

Community Integrated Care have overcome hundreds of other social care organisations across the country by securing a place in the finals of the Skills for Care Accolades in two categories. The national event rewards organisations in the social care sector who invest in their workforce so they can offer high-quality services.

Community Integrated Care support people with learning disabilities, autism and dementia across England and Scotland, and employ over 6,000 colleagues nationwide. The charity has been shortlisted for two categories at the prestigious ceremony, ‘Best Employer (of over 250 staff)’ and ‘Most effective collaborative approach to new models of care’, for the ground-breaking sports inclusion programme, The Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League.

Skills for Care is an organisation dedicated to workforce development in adult social care in England. The organisation stated that all finalists demonstrated their expertise in recruiting the right people with strong core values and that they had succeeded in developing their staff’s skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the people they support and can demonstrate the way they developed strong leaders and managers in their services.

This is the 16^th year of the Skills for Care Accolades, celebrating the outstanding work of adult social care by the 1.49 million people who work in the sector. The event will take place on Wednesday 22^nd January 2020 in London.
