Double Win at Prestigious Awards
We had a very busy evening of award ceremonies last night (17th November). Our charity was recognised at two prestigious awards, the Laing Buisson Awards for our outstanding care in Supported Living settings and our Chief Financial Officer Jim Kane was shortlisted for the Not For Profit, Finance Director of the Year at the Finance Director of the Year Awards.
We’re thrilled to announce that we had a double win, taking home both of these incredible awards. Jim has been named Finance Director Awards in the Not For Profit category, acknowledging the challenging landscape of the social care sector and the funding pressures that many providers continue to face.
We’re also proud to have been awarded the Laing Buisson Supported Living accolade recognising our charity’s mission to provide the Best Lives Possible for the people we support and to empower adults with physical or learning disabilities or mental health conditions. The award was collected by our Managing Director Marc Brodie and Head of Business Development Jen Moores.
Our Chief Financial Officer Jim Kane said: “I was thrilled to be recognised at this year’s Finance Director of the Year Awards in the Not-For-Profit category, flying the flag for the incredible work taking place in the social care sector. A special thank you to my team, who continually go above and beyond, working on projects that really make a difference.”
He continues, “As I collected this award, I was very proud to hear that our colleagues were also collecting a prestigious LaingBuisson Award in London, for our charity’s Supported Living services. What a huge achievement – this win is testament to our frontline colleagues right across our charity, and the outstanding work they deliver.”
