EachStep shortlisted at National Dementia Awards

Community Integrated Care is proud to announce that EachStep Blackley, our pioneering £5 million new dementia care service in Manchester, has been shortlisted for two awards at the prestigious National Dementia Awards 2012.

The National Dementia Awards ‘recognise and reward exceptional commitment of individuals and organisations that provide outstanding care for people with dementia’ and are part of the high-profile UK Dementia Congress event.

EachStep has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Dementia Care Home Category’, which is awarded to care homes ‘which provide an outstanding environment with exceptional standards of care and outstanding staff training and morale’. It has also been shortlisted in the ‘Best Dementia Continence Care’ category.

Michelle Phillips, Manager of EachStep Blackley says, “It is a huge honour for EachStep to have been nominated for both of these wonderful awards. We spent several years working hard to develop a new care service that would pioneer innovation and offer the highest standards of care and support to people with dementia. These award nominations represent that we have really been able to put into practice our initial ambitions.”
