Natalie awarded Operational Leader of the Year
Community Integrated Care is delighted to celebrate Natalie Evans, our charity’s Virtual Care Centre Manager, being awarded Operational Leader of the Year at the International Technology Enabled Care (ITEC) Awards 2025.
Hosted by the TSA, the independent advisory body for the technology enabled care (TEC) sector, the ITEC Awards celebrate the positive impact technology enabled care services have on the lives of millions of people in the UK.
Natalie began her career in the care sector in 2009 as a Support Worker at our charity. Since then, she’s progressed from Support Worker to Regional Manager, and now manages our Virtual Care Centre – leading a team that provides remote support to thousands of colleagues and people supported by our charity, across the UK.
Being awarded Operational Leader of the Year recognises Natalie as “an inspirational individual that has demonstrated an outstanding hands-on approach to making a difference” and celebrates her successes in delivering blended models of care that enable people to have more choice and independence in their lives.
Speaking of the awards win, Natalie said, “I’m both humbled and delighted to receive this award. It means a great deal to me, but I very much see this as a recognition for my incredible team too, as I would never have achieved this without them. I’m fortunate to lead a group of dedicated, talented individuals who bring their best every day, tackling challenges with innovation, resilience, and teamwork.”
Joanna Scammell, Community Integrated Care’s Managing Director for Technology Enabled Care, said, “We’re really proud of Natalie for achieving this award. She is a truly talented leader and has shown a real passion for empowering the people we support and her team, and showcasing how Technology Enabled Care can enrich people’s lives. She leads with confidence, empathy and creativity, and inspires her colleagues to deliver the very best support possible. This award is a testament to her hard work and dedication throughout her career so far, and we cannot wait to see all that she achieves in the years to come.”
