New Managing Director for South and Central

Community Integrated Care is proud to welcome Edd Terrey, who has today joined our charity as Managing Director for the South and Central regions. Edd will be working alongside current Managing Directors, Candice York and Rebekah Adey, for the next few weeks, before they take on other roles within the charity in March.

Within this role, he led on all areas of service design, operational delivery & strategy development. Prior to joining Heart of England Mencap, Edd was Director of Capability Development at Make A Wish UK, tasked with growing & developing new models of service delivery across the UK.

Edd brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a career spanning 24 years, holding senior operational and strategic leadership roles at regional and national levels delivering a wide range of services for children & young people, adults and families.

Speaking of his appointment, Edd said, “I’m passionate about providing opportunities for people, organisations and communities to reach their potential, deliver impact & tackle inequality.”

He continued, “I strongly believe this is achieved through creating the right culture; where people are given the tools and support to be, do and feel their best and there can be no better place to come to than Community Integrated Care who share this same ethos. I’m really looking forward to joining such an inspirational and forward-thinking charity to support people live the best lives possible.”
