Shortlisted for 6 Learning Disabilities Awards!

Community Integrated Care is proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist for six prestigious accolades at The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards.

The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards celebrate excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and autism, and aim to pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who go above and beyond in providing quality care.

Our charity has been shortlisted for six esteemed accolades:

• The Employer Award – Community Integrated Care
• The Employer of People with a Disability Award – Community Integrated Care and the Rugby League World Cup 2021
• The Sporting Chance Award – Community Integrated Care and the Rugby League World Cup 2021
• The People’s Award – The Community Integrated Care and the Rugby League World Cup 2021
• The Newcomer Award – Oliver Thomason, Sports Inclusion Assistant at Community Integrated Care
• The Positive Behaviour Support Award – Community Integrated Care’s PBS Team

We are also incredibly proud of Oliver, shortlisted for the Newcomer Award. Oliver’s work as Sports Inclusion Assistant and Official Inclusion Ambassador for the Rugby League World Cup has been crucial in helping us break down barriers, further social inclusion, and inspire the people we support to get involved with life-changing opportunities.”

Organised by social care publication, Care Talk, the winners will be announced on Friday 29th October 2021 at a celebratory Gala Evening which will take place at The International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
