Criteria for the award included having an exceptional range of services for residents, understanding of individuals’ needs for different activities and an awareness of how to motivate people.
Judges were impressed with the extensive activity programmes on offer for people supported at Charnwood Lodge, including the delivery of gardening sessions, arts & crafts, intergenerational visits with schools, and exciting trips into the community.
