Tall Ships Inclusive Volunteering®

This weekend our incredible Inclusive Volunteers attended Tall Ships Hartlepool.

This four day event, one of the largest FREE maritime events in the UK, saw celebrations across Hartlepool’s waterfront, giving a warm North East welcome awaits a fleet of over 30 ships and 1000’s of people.

A group of people we support from the North East, attended the event as Inclusive Volunteers. They took on a number of roles including wayfinding, leaflet distribution, event assessment and even photography, capturing some of the spectacular displays of music, art, dance and song and of course the Ships!

Volunteers also helped with kit distribution in the run up to this event, helping organisers set up smoothly.

The valuable contributions of our Inclusive Volunteers help to build their skills and confidence, while ensuring the event is inclusive for everyone!
