Thank you, Mark Adams!
Community Integrated Care has said a fond farewell to its Chief Executive Officer, Mark Adams today (Friday 30th September).
Joining us from a role in the Middle East, and taking up the post as CEO in September 2017, Mark has spent five years at our incredible charity.
Within that time, he has led the charity through a period of incredible transformation – strengthening our core vision and values through the launch of our We Dare strategy; improving quality across our 450 services; developing new and exciting partnerships; introducing a sector-leading rate for our frontline colleagues; and campaigning for increased reward and recognition for the wider social care sector.
Mark’s confident, composed and compassionate leadership also provided our colleagues and the people we support with direction and stability through the worst crisis in our history – Covid-19, and more recently, Mark has played a crucial role in developing our strategic blueprint for the next five years: Best Lives Possible.
He will be returning to the United Arab Emirates to take on a new challenge as CEO of a leading healthcare group.
Mark Adams said, “I’ve had the absolute privilege of holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Community Integrated Care for the past five years, and it has truly been the highlight of my career.
He continued, “Within the role, I’ve met so many remarkable people and witnessed first-hand the life-changing support that social care provides to society. As I look forward to new ventures ahead, it is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to many wonderful colleagues and friends, as well as a sector I’ve come to care deeply about.”
The search is now underway for Community Integrated Care’s next CEO, we’ll be providing an update on our progress over the coming months.
