Trustees visit William Gibbs Court!
Today (Friday 22nd April), our people in the South were delighted to welcome Trustee Members, Jay Muthu and Keith Rhodes, to William Gibbs Court in Westminster.
Joined by Regional Manager for the South, Simon Ball, the visit provided an excellent opportunity for the two of our trustees to get to know everybody at the service, hear from the team about the incredible work they do, and meet some of the brilliant people supported by our charity.
As an expert on leadership, inclusion and employee engagement, with a working history at organisations including Virgin Media, Monster.com and Thomson Reuters, Jay joined our charity’s Board of Trustees recently, in 2021, using his wealth of experience to steer the organisation into an even brighter future.
With William Gibbs Court also having recently joined the organisation, as part of the joining between Life Opportunities Trust (LOT) and Community Integrated Care which saw our charity support 100 new people and employ 160 new colleagues, the visit also gave Jay, Keith and the team the opportunity to discuss their transition into the organisation and share their experiences.
Simon Ball, Regional Manager, said, “We were delighted to welcome Jay and Keith to William Gibbs Court in London today – I’d like to say a huge thank you to both of them for taking the time to spend the afternoon with us.”
He continued, “Both our colleagues and the people we support really enjoyed the visit, especially Maureen and Sandra who are supported here at the service and were thrilled to meet, spend time, and engage with our special guests! The visit was really positive, and we can’t wait for them to come back and show them even more of our incredible work here in the South region.”
