Community Integrated Care is delighted to be presenting at The Gathering – Scotland’s largest event for charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations – alongside some of our key partners.

The two-day event will be held on the 17^th and 18^th February at the SECC Glasgow. It has been organised by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).

On Wednesday 17^th February, we will be presenting with Playlist for Life, an organisation that has pioneered person-centred music therapy for people living with dementia, which uses the songs that are meaningful and memorable to the individual to promote their wellbeing.

Community Integrated Care is undertaking a major programme to enhance our care home services for older people, ensuring they deliver genuinely life-enhancing support. Our presentation will share with you some practical ways that we are making this happen – from introducing leading person-centred thinking tools, to working in partnership with NHS and community groups.

On Thursday 18^th February, we will be joined by our partners from Helen Sanderson Associates – who work work with organisations and communities to embed person-centred practices, creating better lives together.

Our presentation will demonstrate how tools such as One-Page Profiles and Person-Centred Reviews are enabling us to ensure that our services are directed by the people we support, helping them to achieve their aspirations and ensuring that we fully embrace the talents of our colleagues.
