We feature in national Made with Care campaign
This week, the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) have launched Made with Care 2023 and Community Integrated Care is proud to see colleagues and people we support starring across the campaign.
Returning for its third year, the national recruitment drive promotes the wide range of career opportunities available across the adult social care sector and encourages people with the right passion and values to consider a career in care.
Colleagues and people we support in the South of England were delighted to work with the DHSC earlier this year, in a series of photoshoots capturing their everyday lives and the varied and fulfilling role of a Support Worker.
The photos will now feature in the national advertising campaign, which is set to reach millions of people via digital channels and social media.
Nunzia D’Adamio, Support Worker at Community Integrated Care, is amongst our colleagues featured in Made with Care. She said, “It was fantastic to take part in the campaign and to show an insight into our role as Support Workers. From supporting people with daily tasks such as tidying their home and picking out their outfits, to empowering people to follow their dreams and explore new hobbies, a career in social care is so varied and rewarding. I love my job and I hope that through Made with Care we can inspire lots of caring people with a passion for making a difference to consider a career in care too.”
Olivea Allegrini-Jones, Head of Resourcing at Community Integrated Care, said, “Made with Care is a fantastic campaign that really celebrates the exciting and fulfilling careers that the adult social care sector has to offer. We are really proud to see our colleagues and people we support sharing their passion for social care and featuring in the initiative.”
“With social care facing an average of 152,000 vacancies each day, it’s so important that collectively, as a sector, we share the great opportunities that are available and champion them far and wide. We hope that Made With Care showcases just how fantastic working in care can be and encourages the next generation of caring and committed professionals to embark on their journey into adult social care.”
Earlier this year, we were also proud to work with the Department of Health and Social Care in a number of radio interviews and social media posts, featuring our colleagues as social care ambassadors. Find out more about our starring colleagues here.
