We join LD England Conference

Colleagues from Community Integrated Care were delighted to attend the Learning Disability England 2025 Conference, ‘Good Lives: Stronger, Louder, Together!’, in Manchester on Wednesday 5^th March.

Our charity’s Participation Specialist, Carla Pipkin, and members of our Partnerships and Communities team, Sophie Mahar and Caitlin Kennedy, were in attendance – joining hundreds of colleagues from across the sector to talk about the impact of working together for good lives, for people with learning disabilities.

We were also proud to lead a pop up session showcasing our accessible online activity platform, What To Do, inviting attendees to come along and learn more about the incredible opportunities on offer.

Carla said, “It was fantastic to attend the conference and network with colleagues and people with lived experience, from across the social care sector, as well as taking part in some really inspiring sessions. It provided a great opportunity to reflect on how we can better work together, to enable people to live the best lives possible.”
