We launch special Rugby League auction
Community Integrated Care have launched our new fundraising campaign ‘Shirts That Care’ with the Rugby Football League, giving fans a chance to own a unique piece of sport’s history – in the form of exclusive signed squad shirts.
32 signed shirts from the men’s, women’s and wheelchair teams that competed at the Rugby League World Cup 2021 are available to bid for now on our charity’s official ebay page here.
With one-of-a-kind signed squad shirts from the likes Australia, England, New Zealand, Tonga and Samoa, ‘Shirts That Care’ gives bidders a chance to win a priceless World Cup memento and support the charity’s work in rugby league communities.
All proceeds raised from ‘Shirts That Care’ will support our charity, as the official social care partner of the RFL – supporting people who access care and support to get active, develop skills, grow in independence, and live healthier lives.
Matt Price, who was supported by the charity to volunteer at the World Cup said:
“Community Integrated Care’s work in rugby league has changed my life. I’ve had the chance to play the sport on the biggest stages, be part of their personal development programmes that have helped me secure a job. I know have a future that a few years ago I couldn’t even imagine.
Every shirt sold will help more people like me to go on their own inspiring journey through the sport. We’re grateful to Rugby League World Cup teams and players for their incredible donations to our charity. Don’t miss your chance!”
The ‘Shirts That Care’ auction will be live on Community Integrated Care’s official eBay page for 7 days, from Monday 29th January 2024, closing on Monday 5th February 2024.
