We mark The National Day Of Reflection
Community Integrated Care has shown its support to today’s National Day of Reflection (23rd March), marking two years since the UK entered its first national lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Led by end-of-life charity Marie Curie, the event gives people a moment to reflect on the lives of the people who have sadly passed away during the past two years, including the 122 much-loved members of our charity, who are forever part of Community Integrated Care.
As a charity, we encouraged all of our colleagues to observe today’s national minute’s silence at 12 noon, where together we all remembered the incredible sacrifices, bravery and commitment of our teams.
Last year the first National Day of Reflection saw widespread support and connected the nation in grief in the first event of its kind. We also launched Our Memory Wall, as a place for everyone connected to our charity to remember those we’ve lost and share stories, prayers and thoughts.
You can add something to our wall, or just take a moment to reflect and remember those who have sadly passed away, by visiting it here.
Throughout the day, Marie Curie will be streaming free online talks and events, including a mindfulness workshop and a session on managing grief.
