We welcome Tom Gibbs!
Community Integrated Care is delighted to welcome Tom Gibbs, who has today joined our charity as our new Chief Financial Officer.
Joining us from the National Trust, Tom held the role of Finance Director, prior to six years with Barnardo’s where he held a number of senior appointments across Business Transformation, Strategy, Audit and Risk. He is also a Trustee and Treasurer at the food bank charity, The Trussell Trust.
Tom will be taking the reins from our Interim Chief Financial Officer, Stephen Perry, who joined our charity in 2023.
Jim Kane, Chief Executive Officer said: “We’ve really enjoyed getting to know Tom over the last few months and are confident he’s a great fit for this important role at our charity. He’s demonstrated his fantastic expertise and considerable leadership qualities, but most notably his values, which are closely aligned with those of Community Integrated Care. His passion for the work that we do has truly shone – I know he’s looking forward to meeting lots of our colleagues, teams and the people we support soon.”

On his appointment, Tom shared: “I’m thrilled to have joined Community Integrated Care at such an important time in the charity’s history. Seeing the incredible work that the charity’s colleagues do firsthand and hearing how they make a difference to people’s lives, demonstrated the strong values held throughout the organisation and cemented my ambition to join.”
He continued, “I’m really looking forward to getting to know the charity better in the coming weeks by spending time out and about in our services and meeting our colleagues and the people we support. I’d like to thank everyone for the warm welcome for the charity so far.”
