As an inclusive organisation, we have a clear aim to create a space where people can truly be themselves at Community Integrated Care. In recent years, our colleagues have told us that they wanted us to challenge ourselves and make a clear commitment to making diversity and inclusion one of our charity’s key priorities.
A Place I Belong – Community Integrated Care’s Diversity & Inclusion Plan 21/22
That’s why Community Integrated Care have undertaken a full diversity audit, carried out by independent experts. This has involved people from across all levels and roles within our charity, with one-to-one interviews, surveys and virtual focus groups – giving people the opportunity to share their lived experiences and tell their stories. All of this knowledge has led to an incredible piece of work that we’re immensely proud of – A Place I Belong – Community Integrated Care’s Diversity & Inclusion Plan 21/22.
We know that actions speak louder than words, so this plan outlines exactly how we’ll bring our ambitions to life through a series of activities and recommendations over the next year to ensure we’re a fair, inclusive and equal organisation for everyone.
