This guide, which is purposely targeted at people receiving support and their support workers or family members, distils the key principles and reasons for recycling in a person-centred way. The document will be distributed as a free resource for care providers, with the aim for it to become widely used in the sector.
Thanks to a grant from the Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority & Veolia Community Fund, Community Integrated Care has undertaken a ground-breaking project enabling people with care and support needs to recycle and become more environmentally engaged.
